- We began today by reviewing Act IV of Romeo and Juliet by creating a plot diagram in the style of a comic strip.
- In class today, we finished reading Act V in our reading groups.
- Tomorrow, we will have a brief review of the events of Act V before taking our Romeo and Juliet test.

2nd block:
- As a class, we read an excerpt from The Hot Zone about the symptoms presented by one of the first men to ever be diagnosed with and treated for Ebola, with each small group reading a piece of the excerpt to the class.
- After this, we watched part of a PBS documentary about the current Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone and the work "Doctors Without Borders" is doing to help and prevent the spread of the disease.
3rd block:
- Today, we read Act IV of Romeo and Juliet individually and in small groups.
- After completing the reading, some of you had time to start on your plot comics. Plot comics for Act IV will be homework and due at the start of class tomorrow.
- We will complete the play tomorrow.
